special evening events over the weekend.

Roman Baths
Roman Sensations
Saturday 19th May 8:15pm - 11pm (last
entry 10pm) Enjoy a torch-lit evening of Roman music, drama and
wine tasting organised by Heritage students from Bath Spa
University. As darkness falls, the ruins of this vast Roman complex
take on a unique atmosphere. By the light of flickering torches,
you can walk on 2,000 year old pavements in the footsteps of the
ancients. With its steaming waters and Roman artefacts, the Roman
Baths is a truly magical place to visit at nightfall.

Come and experience the golden days of the
coaching era. Meet the coach guard in his red attire and post horn.
View the clothes worn by the travellers and appreciate the limited
light or torchlight, which the coachman had to see with. Just how
far can you see in the dark?

Bridge and several of Bath’s architectural masterpieces. Departing
from outside the Pump Room, this special free two
hour guided walking tour will be delivered by the well informed
Mayor’s Guides.

Affair is concerned with the mysterious death of Victorian
businessman, J.B Bowler’s dog
– Nero. Accident or murder? Starts 6pm.
The Ha’penny Bridge Disaster
tells the tale of the collapse of the Ha’Penny Footbridge in
Widcombe, as a Victorian Melodrama.
